I appreciate the work you have put into this website. I have done one and it takes time. Will leave soon for my first Peacock Bass fishing on the Rio Marie. I read every word of your site. It is extremely helpful. I have certainly used your tips when tying flies for this trip. What a great website. Thank you.

I am from Venezuela currently living in the US. I am counting the days for my next fishing trip back home. Your site made the count easy today. Thanks.

Great website. I'm brazilian and travel to Manaus sometimes a year to fly fish Tucunaré. This is year we will do a different fishing. We are going to a place near from Manaus. About 100 miles from de Airport in a river/city called Rio Preto da Eva (Eve's Black River). Last year a group caught many 16lb Tucunarés. It's a cheap and in just 4 hours lefting the airport you are casting the flies. Have fun in your trip, enjoy Brazil and Peacock Bass. Best wishes Rick Morais

Awesome. I'm a rookie yet in fly fishing. Never too late. I usually cast bait in my outings for peacock bass in our lakes. The monster attacks virtually anything moving below the surface, particurlarly in red, orange and yellow... so does piranhas! Depends rather on the tracking speed of the jig. Did you experienced any problems with this pattern and piranhas ?
